Calling Musicians and Artists ...

Through creative and artistic means, we seek to establish an environment that will both engage the heart and enable and authentic worship. Worship is our response to God; therefore we desire to reflect our love for Him back to Him. 

We seek to be flexible and creative as we respond to our "Creator" God! So we communicate our worship several expressive ways: preaching, music, video, drama, dance, visual art, an ever expanding variety of God-honoring expressions of our love for Him.

River of Life is a church focused on young families, helping them to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, part of which is a lifestyle of worship. This is definitely reflective on our worship team, from the styles of music we explore, to the composition of our worship team. You don't have to be a professional musician, and kids can play alongside of their parents.

We are a church that loves to worship, and we love music!  "He has put a new song in our mouth…" writes David in Psalm 40:3.  What a great promise for those who put their trust in God! We believe that God - right now - is giving Christians around the world lots of new songs to sing.

We select our all our music carefully and prayerfully, examining each work for scriptural accuracy.  Our worship songs are chosen for their biblical truth, not simply because they are new - or old!

Just as God did not limit himself to one color of people, we do not limit our musical style, challenging each other to explore the musical expression found in jazz, rock, country, folk, and blues.  We also draw from the wisdom of the saints who have gone before us, singing the great hymns of the faith - sometimes in traditional style, sometimes with our own River of Life interpretative update!
