Can
you imagine being part of a church home where almost every single person is in
a loving circle of friends with a trained leader that provides nurture and
care? Where the communities of believers really do love deeply and forgive
deeply and open their faults and problems up to each other and hold each other
accountable? Wouldn't that be something?
At River of Life, small groups are great places to connect and to grow. As a
matter of fact, you are a little out of step if you're not in one! For the past
few years, over 85% of all regular attendees have been connected to a group of
some kind.
What does a typical cell group meeting look like? It is modeled after Acts 2
so it will usually include a study, fellowship, food, and prayer. As groups do
life together, they often are involved in service projects, outreach events,
and celebrating milestones such as the births of babies and baptisms.
If you are new to our church or have never experienced group life, you can
attend one or more to help you in the exploration process. The best way to
begin is to contact our Lead Pastor, Jim Medin, at 651-483-1970 or by e-mail:
MedinJ@riveroflifemn.org, and he will help you find a group that is right for you.
